I was told Matt misczek did the same thing a few years ago with another company called something like Superior real estate. When he merged with Advanced Rei last year and our checks were late repair charges were made and tenents were unhappy. There were always excuses we got suspicious. We went there and fired them, they shorted us part of our deposits.
A bunch of the people went by false names. Rachel Smith signed a lot of the leases and I think it is really Monica his wife. We got a lot of information from our tenants.
My understanding was that their agreement between the owner and Texas lease says the tenant can not talk to the owner. When we went to our houses the tenants were trying to get out of the lease, because nothing was getting fixed. These were things like a plugged drain, missing doorhandles, and a broken fan that were supposed to be fixed before the tennant moved in. Texas lease said that we the owners would not pay for any repairs, but we were getting charged for repairs.
I told them that I was going to contact the owners of their other properties, and Matt said that he would sue me.
I have a whole list of about 50 properties that they had listed, the owners just need to be researched at tad, gov website
There was supposed to be something on Craigs list to get everyone together, but the link is broken.
Our advice is to CONTACT YOUR TENNANTS
