American Eagle Van Line
Stole items, broke boxes, charged for items they said they would not

I contacted American Eagle Vanline to move me from Chicago to Orlando. I thought everything looked OK on the quote so we went ahead and booked. I should have known something was wrong when the movers got to my house and had me sign all the papers before they started moving a thing. They quoted 428 cu ft with 2 pick up locations. THe movers would not show me the space I used up saying it was not sectioned off on the truck. This might be why I still do not have MANY of my items.

Long story short, I'm missing a video camera, digital camera, DVD player/DVDs, blender, coffee maker, bedding and several other items that were all in their original packaging. After calling American Eagle every day after they dropped off my belogings 5 days late, I only got a camping chair and a workout bag 2 months later. The cost of the move was not extravegant, but I'm out over $4,000 in items I need to replace.

They have offered no resolution and have yet to send the "claims forms" from their insurance company. The movers themselves were very unprofessional, ASKING for a tips after my items arrived damaged, missing and broken. As I tried to get these issues resolved I spoke with Malcolm, Brain and Isaac, all of whom dismissed my phone calls and just tried to get me off the phone every time I called. DO NOT USE AMERICAN EAGLE VANLINE!!! They will steal your belogings and blow you off!!!
