Theft of Service

I used the drop off laundry service at the above-stated business. I had dropped off two bags off laundry on Sunday January 17 around 2pm, and picked the laundry up around 5pm on Monday January 18, at which time I and my daughter saw that the scale to weigh the laundry was 3 pounds over. Later that evening I started to take the laundry out of the bags and realized that they were not cleaned. I phoned the business the next morning and spoke with the manager Susan who told me that the business was not going to do anything about the laundry not being cleaned. I told her that I would be in after work around 5:30 pm and I expected a refund and that I would bring the laundry in to show them that it was not clean. I was told that no one would help me and that the manager only works from 7 to 3. I then went to the location this morning (Wednesday january 20) at 7:30 am with the laundry and said that the laundry was not cleaned, the service was not performed and a refund was requested, in which I was told that the service was performed, they don't get complaints, their customers don't like their detergent so they bring their own. I requested the information on the owner, she refused, I then requested that the owner contact me and that I was strongly considering a small claims court suit on the grounds of principle. After I said that I was told that they would re-do the laundry with my detergent. I refused on the grounds that they have unethical business practices, their work is sub-par and they are ripping-off the consumer, which in turn damages the economy and makes the consumer turn elsewhere.
