This is company is ridiculous! I started a subscription at the end of '07 and realized their shadiness by the beginning of '08. Although unhappy with my decision to continue my subscription, they went over the line when they charged my credit card without my permission and then added another account. For those of you who don't know, each account is like 5-6 magazines a month. Why would any sane person want 2 accounts?

They claimed to have me binded in a recorded conversation and refused to cancel the new account. I tried for months to get this cleared and ran into phone reps who didn't know anything or ended being rude (I was hung-up numerous times).including the time when the young lady swore she had a tape recording of me accepting a new account. This when I clearly asked if I was being taped and stated that I wanted NO kind of extension renewal and new account. This recording has yet to be found.

No rep knew knew how to correct my situation, but I sure got calls about all money I supposedly owed them. I had two lengthy conversations with "supervisiors" and both promised to cancel my account. Each time I asked for it in writing, nothing showed of course.

I eventually filed an complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they still tried to claim their innocence. However, in the end they documented via BBB closure of the account. This occured in 05/08. Why am I still receiving threating phone calls from this company? Most recent today and included the rep telling me that I now owed $1600 and threatening to take my house. These people are nuts! So I will be calling the BBB tomorrow in the attempt to reopen my account and look for some legal action. The shame is as diligent as they are to pursue you for money is how they should be with providing fair services.
