Posted an ad on Craig's List on December 8 for a roofing quote. Was contacted by Ron Kraft II of Durakraft Construction with a quote and at that time he stated that he was licensed and insured. Met with Mr. Kraft and gave him $900.00 as a deposit for the roof, however he continually failed to provided his license and insurance information.
At that point asked for money back since he couldn't provide either the insurance or license information. At this time he tells me I owe him for the quotes that he provided which was NEVER part of our agreement.
Needless to say he has stated the check was in the mail on several occasions and we have yet to get our money back.
It appears from this website that Mr. Kraft was busy ruining the holidays for at least two other families. I expect more to come forward after these postings.
I have contacted Craig's List so hopefully he will not be able to take anyone elses money.
