Ripoff

My family and I moved from Richmond, IN to Newton Falls, OH on Aug. 19,1999. To this date, we have not received out belongings. I contacted Budge IT and they in return contracted with US Movers. Budge IT told me my move would cost $2700 and when we were ready to pull out of our drive way (that is when I realized the movers were with US Movers) they told me I owed them $8000. I refused to pay it and 4 years later I still don't have my goods.

We have been to court and have won a judgement (good size) but we are now trying to collect. We have an attorney back here and he has hired one in NY.

I want to know how to stop these people from doing this over and over again. It has been one hell of a night mare. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
