Ripped moving off and scammed, picked up the stuff from Dallas on June 29, they still did not show upripoff Dallas

I am a victim of this scam and the moving company is holding my items and I doubt that I will see them again.

I found this company American Van Lines on the Dallas Yellow Page, Al Williams gave me a really low price for a move from Dallas, TX to California and promised to come over to pick up the stuff for 1300 and ask me to leave a 300 cash down. I was fooled by their low-balled price and it has been 3 weeks and I have not seen my stuff yet.

They picked up the stuff from Dallas on June 29 and I called on July 8 which is the promised day of delivery and Al Williams told me that the truck is delayed and the things are in LA and will be over tomorrow. They did not show up. On the next day, he told me that things are delayed, will be over Saturday. They still did not show up.

On the second week, Al did not mention why the things are delayed. I asked to speak to manger and he refer me to John. John promised that I will talk to driver Corey Smith and that my things are on the way over. They just play this game that the items will be over the next day. John told me that they will show up the next day, my stuff still never arrive.

On the third week, John denies that he is the manager at all, and refer me to Al's wife, Loraine as the dispatcher. Now, Loraine denies any relationship and I found out that the things are actually still in Dallas all these time.

Do not use this company, all the contact numbers are cell phone number and there is no physical address of the company too. The reason I am writing this to make people aware of the scam and watch out for these people, Al Williams, John and Loraine.
