ANOTHER EMPLOYMENT SCAM using Credit Reporting

Here we go again with another employment scam, claiming to be conducting interviews but requiring all applicants to arrive with a credit report in hand at time of interview.
Never provide a credit report or any personal information like SSN# to a potential employer unless signing a disclosure and/or you are 100% positive they are legit.
This is the email I got:

["We read over your resume and think you would be a good asset to our company.
Our position, with a base pay of at $19 / hour, is located in sandiego.

We would like to make an appointment for a phone interview tomorrow.

In light of the complications facing our industry will be taking a more selective approach to final approval.

Prior to your phone interview we need you to finish the following:

1.) Tell us a little more about yourself, any addition information would be great. Please include your phone number.

2.) The best time for us to hold the meeting. Morning (9-11am) or Evening (2-5pm)

3.) We REQUIRE all applicants to have a credit report on hand prior to the interview.

Please note: Your credit score is irrelevant, it is only used to verify your details.
The report allows us to verify your legal US citizenship and employment history. It also provides us with a confirmation of your address. DO NOT email us the credit report, we will ask you to fax it during the phone interview.
