Too Many Places I am former manager - I KNOW what went on!

I was a manager with Verizon in NY for 20 years. I could not say anything when I was there for obvious reasons. When they laid me off for reporting workplace violence (they made up other reasons of course) it destroyed my family's financial future. I was part of a force reduction in 2001 and still have not recovered financially.

I have documents (even the beginning of a book I call THE SPRINGFIELD AFFAIR) with photos showing MILLIONS of dollars of GOOD equipment being thrown out. Managers and craft taking pay-offs... Craft employees working a second job but still getting paid from Verizon (showing up at Verizon for about 10 minutes then leaving)! There are many reasons TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

A friend in billing told me that about a dollar is added to customers phone bills - a dollar that is frauduantly charged because the customer did not use that dollar's worth of service! This, he said, is done monthly. It may not seem like much but when you add the dollar to millions of customers monthly, you get a nice little profit for work not performed!

Verizon says they are opposed to unethical practices. Yeah! And I can fly! The fact that I was ousted for reporting a violent employee proves that they are unethical. But my boss, who was part of ousting me, is now dead. She got what she deserved and I hope she is rotting in hell! I hope you hear that, Susan.

If you were smart, you would stay away from all Verizon services - unless you like to get ripped off. You may think you are getting a better deal than the compeition but you are not. You WILL be overbilled - and you will not even know it. That is because the amount of the over bill is so small (a dollar) that you won't even catch it. But Verizon, and CEO Ivan Seidenberg, are laughing all the way to the bank.

Am I a disgruntled ex-employee? Yes I am. I was shafted by a company that I worked for. This is how they treat their employees - how do you think they will treat you? HELL... They took away their managers pensions!!!

Verizon does not give a rat's ass about you or your family!

If you want to be stupid... Stay with Verizon. If you end up in Hell when you die, you will have the company of the officers of this highly unethical and immoral company.
