Rip offs - scandals - crooks - liars - criminals - fakes!

I responded to an ad on craigslist that Mr. Grover and Mrs. Meyers had put on there. They said they were looking for new faces for local projects and that it pays between 50 $175 an hour depending on project.

I received a phone call a couple days later asking to set up an interview with Mrs. Robin Meyers herself. After finding a good time that would work for me i then took the bus and traveled to University District area to a local Starbucks where i was met by Robin. She had a binder and showed me all the pictures that they have done with others, told me about them having connections with Patti Ellis and how she is the teacher of one of the classes that are offered. Robin was really interested in me and wanted to set up a photo shoot photographed by Marc Grover. Also wanting me to sign up for a class when it became available.

It sounded too good to be true. I was soo excited thinking that mabye one day i would finally pursue my dream and goals of acting and tv work. Then... On the last page of the binder was a price sheet that i frowned upon. The cheapest package that was available was still over $100. I was currently a student at the time with a part time job and it wasnt like i had money to throw around. I was soo excited and it seemed ligit so I chose the smallest package which was two outfits with unfortunetly no cd in return. I made payments because i didnt have enough money to pay it all at once but was sure to have $75 at their request before the photoshoot at Gasworks park one sunny afternoon. Photoshoot was good, Robin stood in the background and was the little helper i guess you could call her. I left the shoot and got a reciept from them stating how much i paid and how much i owe and where to send checks too. They said the photos would be ready and he would post them online and show them to their clients so that i could get work in a week. A week passed by and he said pictures were done and that he was gonna start showing them to their top clients. I asked for copies and what i got was two pictures send via email. I payed him off and still nothing. I finally was set up with an audition in seattle. I went, and after talking with the person in charge of the audition she said all she did was post an ad on craigslist with the information of the audition. She also said she does not go thru talent/model agencies because they are ripoffs and that she deals with clients directly. I told her that i was there with benetvictoria and she had no clue what i was talking about. When i got home i looked online and saw her ad on the craigslist with all the information that Marc sent to me. He acted like he set it up and to sign in with him and his company and also told me that if i was accepted to be sure and tell him so that he can work with the company that i was accepted with. He did nothing but go online as i did and find an audition write down the information and got ahold of me and acted like he set it up. Also, in hopes that i was accepted wanted to be in charge of taking a cut for himself from my audition leaving me with a small cut in the end. Havent heard anything from these people... I would advise other people to watch out for these people and not throw their hard earned money on crooks like these!!! What a disgrace!
