Consumer Resource Network
Used extremely fast talking phone operator to enroll me and my credit card into 4 services costing 40 bucks each every month!

Shops, Products, Services

I heard an ad on the radio for a free copy of Consumer Resource Networks listing of foreclosed homes. With plans to be married soon I figured it couldn't hurt anything to get one and check out some homes to buy instead of being caught in the dead ends of renting.

The operator was a young man who was obviously hired for his ability to speak as fast as possible. After requesting the brochure he informed me that there wa a charge of $1.99 for S&H. I hesitated but considered 2 dollars a fair trade off for the possibility of finding a good starter house. After assenting to the price he inquired and recieved my credit card number. As soon as that was taken care of he launched into a dazzling dialogue I had absolutely no chance of keeping up with. I asked several times for him to slow down and repeat what he said but only got the last words of the sentence. I assumed he was going through a mandated spill required by the company. He was. He was also enrolling me into several other programs which have no value whatsoever and which cost $40/month. When he would slow down enough to ask if I agreed to the terms I assumed he was still speaking of the original $2 charge for S&H. The next time I checked my banking online there was over a $120 missing. A complete and utter rip-off. Unknowingly entering into a purchase of several things coerced by an operator knowingly scamming you. RIP-OFF is the only way to describe it.
