Mark Swain Tried to get me to pay for leads up front

Mark Swain sent me information and promises that property tax relief was the next hottest market. I was interested, so I filled out the affiliate forms and was excited to have my clients sign up. He then sent me a Paypal like to pay him $495 for "leads". It is basically impossible to have data leads for property tax relief, in my opinion, how would you get the information about property value? I told him I was not paying. He sent me an awarkwardly long email explaining to me how affiliates do so much better when they buy his leads and blah balh. This is when I realized it was a scam. They are just trying to get money up front. Beware.
