Darlene Swafford Beware of this chihuahua breeder, cost me 3500 in addtional costs

I purchased in good faith a chihuahua puppy from Darlene's Chihuahuas for 1,500 US dollars in cash. Darlene states on her website that she stands behind every puppy she sells, but at 9 months of age, this pup was diagnosised with grade 3 luxating patellas in both rear legs, and also bowed hind limbs. She could not walk at all, the knees colapsed on her. We saw an orthopedic surgeon, and arranged for surgery to repair this little dog's knees. There was nothing that could be done for the bowed hind legs according to the surgeon. The surgeon also informed us that it was most likely that both parents either had themselves or carried genes for this severe level of deformity.in surgeons opinion, neither of the parents should ever be bred.
I contacted Darlene by registered letter, there was never a response, I paid 3,500 US dollars to surgically repair this dogs knees, so all told, I spent 5.000 US dollars on this dog!!! In my letter to Darlene, I asked for my 1,500 back in order to help pay for the dog's surgery, and I cited surgeon, and asked that she cease to breed the two dogs that were the parents, to prevent some other unsuspecting person to have to deal with this horrible situation. NO RESPONSE.
Darlene is still breeding both of these dogs, they are on her website, and I would like to state that anyone thinking of purchasing a dog from this woman should BEWARE, it will cost you a fortune, and Darlene does NOT stand behind every dog she sells!!!
