Scam, Looking to confirm cancellation request for $479 advertising

We received a phone call from someone with Regional Yellow Pages stating they were calling to confirm our cancellation request for our advertising from November and that there was a balance due of $479.95. The owner of my company immediately picked up and asked who authorized the advertisements. The response was that they didn't have that information and would send us to collections, then hung up on us. We looked at our records and confirmed we owe them nothing. After a little research, we found we are not the only ones to be targeted with this scam.
