Stamps.com
Frauhulent misrepresentation of service and failure to clearly disclosure terms

Shops, Products, Services

Stamps.com is just a certified broker of America Postal Service

Stamps.com obviously recognizes its application and extra products e.G. Postage size as "free" (plus delivery). Delivery for extra products charge $8.96, for that 5lb. Size package.

Stamps.com sent me two emails: (1) a pleasant email with no reference to a membership support or connected costs (only mention of the an effort interval missing conditions): and (2) a delivery bill for that extra products.

After four weeks, my charge card was charged 15.99 for support. I received notice just by my charge card statement. Stamps.com didn't delivered any bill regarding a membership charge despite the fact that they usually delivered emails for additional occasions.

Throughout A problem phone to stamps.com, I stressed how it seems deceptive to clearly show "free" application and "free" size without obvious reference to the real price of support. This time is formulated by bills obtained for "free" products and none obtained for subscription-based support. The broker admitted this reality and apologized. He described the "conditions and terms" were decided to by pressing a check-box which such costs were kind forth there. I further described that it's terrible that on your behalf of the USPS they perform company in this way: clear regarding campaigns however challenging regarding actual costs. Again, I obtained a verification and apology. The broker had no expert to renounce the costs, but agreed to proceed the support for 2 free weeks. This isn't a price efficient answer to get a client that creates only 1-2 transport labels monthly. The consideration was ended and costs questioned with charge card business.

DoN't fall for stamps.com questionable business methods. One delivery tag expense me $25.09 ($8.96 for "free" items which are useless with no stamps.com service, along with a 15.99 cost for service)
