Bad news refund policy - Flax linen clothing

Shops, Products, Services

You're buying clothing, and you're paying $60 to $100 for each article, and it isn't returnable? Every item I purchased was "on sale" as it turns out (I swear it wasn't when I was shopping, but I don't have a copy of the pages to prove it) and sale merchandise is not returnable. Well, according to the Deceptive Trade Practices Act (or one of those consumer protection acts that exist today), the seller has to tell you that before you finalize the transaction, not when they mail your confirmation of the sale to you. It isn't sufficent to reference a policy - you have to state what the policy is. I think I'll get my money back as the credit card company has charged it back to the seller because they didn't see the policy when they tried to order either. But most people probably just feel bad and beat up, and don't have the time or energy to fight.
