Former Employee Says Hospital Stay Counted as Absenteeism and Led to Firing

Dish Network claims to be a company that cares about their employees and about their customers when in reality they are very crafty in the way the present themselves, at first they are a good company to work for, they teach us to read scripts without reading them and to help the customers in fact we do not help the customer we find a way to help them and help us even more. They claim to be supportive of their employees until one has been in the hospital, once even taken out with a 104 degree temp and taken by squad.

When I came back it was granted as a Unpaid day off however in the end When the 4 day hospital stay came it was considered to be absenteeism and was terminated from employment. Listen very carefully to everything they say if you ask them to slow down you will be surprised at what you hear in their "SCRIPTS" enjoy a horrible company to work for and a horrible unreliable service. Hope you don't get charged 99.00 for a service call.
