In the end of May my daughter signed a contract with Homefix to install new windows, after meeting with their very pushy sales rep. She did some research and decided not to go with them She personally delivered cancellation note to the office in Hamilton within 3 days and gave it to M. Adriani, personally. He accepted her cancellation note but ask her to reconsider...
Week later he called to and asked if she followed his advice. She did not and he started insulting her, calling her by different degrading names etc. And said that she will never see her $8K, which she gave as a down payment.
She went to lawyer ans asked for assistance. Lawyer called and was told that yes she delivered cancellation note, but he already spent money on her contract (!?), so he is not going to give her refund.
We filed a law suite and it is still pending.
So far Mr. Adriani wrote to caurt that his wife had a baby and he does not have money.
Now decide for yourself if this is an honest business and if you want to deal with them...
By the way, Homefix has a statement on their web site
