Tax assistance Very poor communication, false information, in end, they don't go to bat for you, and never went over 21 best fit program with me, never discussed negotiations, gave worst resolution plan

Effectur has done a real bad job for me in negotiating with IRS, failed to tell me about different payment plans, and even with my asking for better terms repeatedly, failed to inform me of much better terms that I found out about only after calling IRS directly myself! They even said they were closing the case on me as nothing else could be done! They never went over the negotiations with me or showed any concern for me when 'settling' on the worst possible resolution for me with IRS. Like I said, the IRS themselves have been way more helpful than Effecture. Whether they were doing what was just conveniant for them or whether they were trying to gain monetarily wise, I'm not sure, but something sure stinks with this outfit. You'll find yourself without a friend on your side if you hire them... Trust me.
