J.D. Marvel Products ripoff cuckoo clock fraud 2 ordered check cashed for $29.29, never delivered never answer phone

We ordered 2 of the cheap cute little cuckoo clocks for our granddaughters from their newspaper add, order sent by mail. Check for $29.95 sent 3/6/03 and promptly cashed by JD Marvel. As of 6/13/03 nothing was recieved. Repeated calls to their number just get message, no pickup, no way to leave message. Web site gives no contact information, no e-mail address, no way to contact, no address to write for problems nor complaints.

Based on this, the compay's unwillingness to provide a way of contacting them or complaining to them, and our inability to find any way to contact this company, it is my opinion we may have dealt with a company engaged in a con, and I feel I am a victim of what appears a likely fradulent rip-off, from a company who gives strong indication that it no intention of giving you a way for them to be confronted with their lack of delivering products.

Were these not delivered, it would be theft by fraud. I would hope that JD Marvel either sends the clocks or returns my money.
