If you receive a gift of the Rosetta Stone to learn a language, or if you lose your receipt from purchase, then Rosetta Stone will rip off your money.

Company policy states that you can not activate your product without receipt even though you have the registration codes and the full box.

Also, you can activate on 2 computers, and if your computer crashes and you replace your computer, you have to get the license cancelled in order to reinstall.

We had our internet provider change our modems and probably the ip changed. We cannot use the program, and the tech department has spent hours with me, trying to uninstall. This couldn't be done. I give the techie full credit as he tried hard. He also diligently tried as he knew that we could not produce the receipt. Even though we have registered and activated this product twice. He knows the CUSTOMER DISSERVICE POLICY.

One would think that having activated the product, having the activation codes, having registered with them, they would issue a new license. Nope nada you can forget about it until hell freezes over. They have your money, and you can't do anything about CORPORATE POLICY with the DISSERVICE DEPARTMENT.
