Our company agreed - after being solicited by a representative from Velocity Processing - to accept their offer of a 50-day Risk Free Trial. We have very good rates with our existing credit card processing company, but Velocity was eager to prove themselves.

After one full month of processing, I received the statements and saw that the savings weren't enough to sever our relationship with our existing processor. I sent an e-mail to the representative that met with us that stated my desire to stay with my current processor, and thanked her for the opportunity to get to know the company.

A few minutes after the e-mail was sent, the owners of the company conference-called me at my office. They berated me for desiring to cancel, stated that nobody has ever canceled the trial offer, tried to guilt-trip me into paying them additional $210.00, and then told me "what goes around comes around" and that "when bad things happen in the business and to the owners personally, " I'll know it was because of how I "burned" them.

I paid 75.00 to take part in the supposed risk-free trial, which I now believe was just a clever way to swindle money from unsuspecting business owners, and I am left shaken up. Literally, my hands were trembling after the threat.

I believe that the way they handled the situation was completely shady. Under no circumstances should a consumer be treated in such a way. They actually stated several times throughout the harassing phone call that they were "good guys" and always stick to their promises. I was literally sick to my stomach.
