Deceptive Sales

An APX rep came to the door and said we were selected to be a special advertising house for their new product.initially this person said that we would get a free alarm system with no monthly fee if we dispalyed their sign in the hopes that neighbors would buy it. Rep wanted to come in and see all our doors and the things that we might want to protect. Very fishy. Later in the sales pitch, with exceptional pushing by myself after googling them and rip off reports showing up (spouse was talking with him), he admitted there was a fee of 39.99 per month and you had to keep the sign for three years or so.

I have no idea if his city solicitation permit was legit or not but do have his name if needed for future reference.

Be wary of this sales pitch for financial and personal safety reasons. I do not trust any stranger coming to the door asking about security levels. And the actual sale pitch was one of the most deceptive I have experienced.
