DBS Books, Disountbooksales.com, HotBookSale.com Multiple charges Membership Agreement Not Stated on Website

I ordered one book from this company for a total of $2.92. There was nothing in the invoice or on the website about a monthly agreement or service fee. I was billed $1.00 processing fee and then 2 weeks later the $2.92. Then about a month after that I was charged another $1.00 processing fee and then another $29.95 membership (this time it said DiscountBookSales) and then a month after that I was charged another $29.95 and another $1.00 processing fee. Then they started charging me $12.00 per month. Several calls to their overseas call center went without resolution. They kept telling me the charges were for a membership agreement. I pointed out I never agreed to a membership agreement, and if I did why was I charged by two different websites when I only went to the website 1 time to order 1 book. The customer service representative put me on hold repeatedly and would come back and say the same thing over and over again. I asked for a supervisor he told me a supervisor was not available, after about 5 times of him coming back and telling me he would cancel and give me a 1 month credit, I continued to insist on a supervisor. Finally I got someone who said her name was Rain, or Rayne, but she refused to give any identication or other information that I would be able to document whom I was speaking with.

In any event shame on me for not doing something sooner, I called my bank and had to cancel my debit card to stop these charges from continuing. Be ware of anything that says DBS or HotBookSales or DiscountBookSales.
