I've worked for Avon twice. Once while living in Utah and now here in Florida...
In Utah I was able to get around some and could go door to door, but because I have to use a walker and am unable to climb some steps, I decided to make mine an online business.
With the help of a friend, I had a banner on his website, one that he paid for the logo of Avon on, and posted my business to friends and on Facebook.
This morning I went to check my site and to my shock, I found that I no longer have a site and that my customers can no longer buy from me.
I had some credit on my business the last time I checked, not much, but some and never saw a cent of the money.
I wrote to my customers today and told them I didn't have a business now, it seems.
One of them wrote me back and told me she just ordered from me! Well, I won't see any commission, that's for sure!
I just saw an ad on tv for Avon yesterday and these idiotic women are talking about how they can make money with Avon and a living, according to them. I don't see how they do it.
I am very upset and unhappy, as you might imagine.
A friend of mine sent me this link this morning and I read the report of the woman in a wheelchair... My roommate said when she read it that it almost matched what's happened to me.
I will never trust Avon again... And I used to be a satisfied customer!
