This company is crap. I went there two weeks ago and everything about it is shady. This is definitely a part of - http://usacomplaints.com/reports/0/067/RipOff0067444.htm these type of stories. I went to this address two weeks ago, but now they have changed their address, phone number and their website design.

I went in. I ringed the door and some skinny tall white guy shook my hand. The office was tiny with four small room and a tiny hall way. There was a receptionist/admin girl sitting and was calling candidates without any break. They pretty much called anyone that applied or any resume they came across. There were either 3 or 4 people that were doing the interviews. Anyways I had to fill in a application which had a question with 5 verbs and I had to pick which represents me the best and which represents me the least. I shook hands with this fat guy and we go for in to his room. He had a busted IBM laptop and a printer that was picked out of garbage. So he tells me "My name, if you don't mind, I like taking a lot of notes and it will take a bit longer. Please excuse me." Then we go through my resume and he then tells me its not a sales job. This is a management type role. We want Business Partners. I asked him how many people they were looking for and he was like 5 people. 5 Business partners left us and we want to fill thier spots asap. We want you to learn this business for about 4 mos and then we will train you on how to run your own business, like payroll etc. So he asked me what type of job are you looking for and I said "I want to do something dynamic, something that will not have me sit behind the desk. I like talking to people" (something anybody would say for this type of job), and he goes, you would like to go out and meet people in the street. I said Yes. Then he goes, We work for Quill which is an affiliate of Staples. They were acquired by staples on a all stock deal in 1998 or 99. We are the marketing arm for them. Then I said, who are we going to be selling this stuff to, like the corner stores or bodegas? He goes, No No. Corner stores or Bodegas don't need office supplies. We service doctor's offices, Accountants and those types of people who will need our help.

Well this is a 3 round process. The second round is where we take you on a field trip with a leader who will show you the business. He/she will observe you. At lunch, we will talk about the corporate structure and salary etc. At the end of the day, we will make the decision on whether to hire you or not. And I was like ok. Then he said, I will discuss you and others I see with my colleagues and vice versa. Then we will decide and will let you know by 1 - 2 pm. I left knowing that I will get a call and I am not going to respond to them. Surely they called on 1.45 pm.

Some chick called a left me a message that I was selected for 2nd round and want me to call her to get more details. I never called her back. Anyways, I am pretty smart that I figured their shit immediately. I feel sorry for the people that go through their crap and suffer in the end. Now with the different site, they are looking for new entry level marketing individuals.
