Ripoff I know they are still out there and probably using another name

I too was scammed by this company, I did file a complaint with the Department of Real Estate. Apparently there were several people this company scammed. The company was issued a refrain and desist order (stop operating), but I could not get my money back, which was a little under $200.00.

The way the employee rebutted (probably the owner) was unprofessional. Anyone who truly cares about good customer service does not have an attitude like this.

The department of real estate is there to stop individuals like HCC (as they are also known). After HCC did not really do a thing to help me locate a rental, they refused to give me my money back, stating that I could not get it back because I did not sign up as a fax customer. This option was never discussed with me, when I went into thier office to sign up, they were so eager to take the money and were very friendly, until I had to keep getting on them to provide me the service that they promised in thier contract. The whole thing was a nightmare.

This was more than a year and a half ago and just recently I called them and told them i was looking for a rental and they gave me the same song and dance (they did not even have a record of scamming me!) anyhow, right after that, I faxed the city of Pico River a letter and when I tried to call HCC again, thier numbers were disconnected.

I know they are out there still and probably using another name. So be careful and make sure you check out any real estate companies/rental with the Department of Real Estate, ahead of time.
