Noureddine "Eddie" Daanouni Or Eddie's Home Repairs Shoddy workmanship and poor customer service / Dale City

Please do not hire this "contractor". He is a Morrocan guy named Noureddine "Eddie" Daanouni. I met him at Home Depot after my other referred contractor stood me up for the 3rd time. I was getting desperate to have the work done, I should have been patient.

Eddie stated he could do everything I requested from installing custom kitchen cabinets, painting, installing new appliances, installing ceramic tile, installing new front door and storm door. He just forgot to mention he doesn't do it all WELL.

It has been less than one year, and my dishwasher doesn't drain properly and therefore floods inside and leaks out onto the floor. One time it happened on Christmas day. I called him about it, he came out once and ran the dishwashwer and that was it. The next time it flooded he never returned my calls or came by. I had to call GE but I honestly think he didn't supply all the parts when he installed it.

The grout in the ceramic floor in the kitchen has started to crack in different places and the foyer tiles have also started to come up. The storm door doesn't fit properly and no longer shuts.

I paid him what he quoted with NO problems or excuses, he asked for money throughout the process because of his ex-wife and her monetary demands. I gave it to him. He has been saying that he's going to come out and fix the floor, but so far he hasn't showed up or called.

I am very disappointed to have spent all this money to IMPROVE on something only to have it done so poorly, I will have to spend more money to get it right.

Do not do business with Noureddine Daanouni out of Dale City Woodbrige, VA area. I was warned by his one and only reference about him cutting corners, because that's what he does.

This was my first homeowner project and I didn't know the ropes like I know now.
