Do not use Alpha Moving and Storage in Jersey City Rip Off

We were quoted a price of 800.00 for our move for an estimated 2030 lbs. The day of the move we were asked to push the move from 9 a. M to 1. Pm but they showed up at 4.00. Three men came upstairs and we were told that we had to pay 30.00 per hour to them for labor (not previously discussed) by the time they were finished we paid them 500.00 for the initial move we were also guaranteed that our items will be received no later than the 7 days after pickup. Today we spoke with them and our items will be delivered on Saturday (9th day) and the balance due is 760.00. I understand a quote is an estimate but a difference of 500.00. Alpha Moving and Storage is ripping people off because they know that once the items are in their hands the customer does not have a choice. Please do your research on this company before signing a contract with them. There are so many complaints with the BBB that if I had checked I would have used another company. We will be taking them to court.
