Charged me $600 a month for storage fee

I shipped my household items from Tennessee to Nevada. My things arrived before I did, so Avalon placed my things in storage unit of their choice. I found out a couple months later that they (Avalon) was charging me $600 a month for storage which is crazy. I never heard of any storage unit being that much, what were they renting a warehouse. I really think, no I know for a fact that Avalon is ripping me off. Now they are threaten to sale my things because I can't afford to pay all the storage fees.
