Built our home, now the slab is failing

This builder built our retirement home about five years ago. Now the slab is failing and the home is sinking one one side. This is causing the bulkhead to fail allowing the dirt that the home sets on to run off. Do to the ovement of the slab there are cracks in the walls, windows, floor tile and the rock on the fireplace is cracking. The porch is also pulling loose from the front of the house. The builder is refusing to do anything about repairing.

We have filed a complaint the the TRCC (organization in Texas that watches builders). We do not know if they are going to help or not. We have gotten a bid for the slab repair and it is $56,000.00. That is slab only, we still have all the other problems. The builder says he has no responsilibity for repairs after the first year. We paid cash for this house and he wants to just leave us holding the bag. He said he was building our dream home but it turned out to be our nightmare home.
