Accent Movers, Accent Movers Incompetent, Dishonest, Unreliable and just Horrible Customer Service!

I hope others heed the advice here and never use accent movers. I just got off the phone on a very frustrating claim settlement call to where Shane Gibson, the owner, offered only 100.00 on damages that were in the thousands.

His crew completely damaged my desk to which he offered the 100.00 for. He did not acknowledge my claim to the gouges and nicks in the dining table, subwoofer, dresser, and chest of drawers. At 66 cents per pound is definitely more than 100 but like I said he refused to state that his company damaged those others items - claiming could have happened at any time and though the pictures were date/time stamped I could not prove they occurred on that move.

They were, as others have stated, hours late (2.5 in my case) had 3 guys moving, none of which wrapped the items properly or secured them in the truck. They moved the grill through the den/kitchen, left many heavy items in the garage at the new location and refused to move. I paid 220.00 and basically Shane said I was lucky to get the move done that cheap for the items that I had. If you bid a job, agree on a price, I figured that included getting your items safely and securly without damage. I was mistaken.

Guess it is true you get what you pay for. I hope others read these postings, I myself did not. If you have expensive items you can get replacement insurance, but not sure how that would have helped me because if they deny doing damage then they will not be replacing it I figure.

Do not use Accent Movers, we as consumers, can only hurt these poorly run companies who claim "quality service, and a stress free moving experience" by not using their services - they lie and do not believe at all in customer satisfaction. I am normally not a complainer, never have gone through this before and hope never again!
