Entry level Position Scam

First I would like everyone to know is that Defined Strategies is a branch of Lamparter Marketing. Please GOOGLE that company and read their reports they describe the atmosphere to a T. I will just briefly touch on it below to prevent repetition.

The reason for the name change is that every metro area has a branch of Lamparter Marketing but since so many know what kind of positions they offer each office has its own name. Regardless of what you are told this is door to door sales, or what they like to call it "Client to Customer Marketing". This has nothing to do with marketing what so ever TRUST ME! This is hassling people at their front doors to switch from Direct TV or WOW to AT&T U-Verse.

If you do decide to take the interview they will come off as this is a very exclusive position and only have a few spots open for hundreds of applicants (not true). If they decide to call you back for the second interview they actually congratulate you like you just climbed Everest and ask that you come in the next day for something like 8hrs (don't do it you go door to door with a top sales person and waste your whole day). I could go on and on but we all know what these positions are all about. Defined Strategies just likes to make you feel as if this is a "career" opportunity until reality sets in and you realize you will be walking door to door with no chance of actual promotion.

I don't want anyone to get me wrong, this is a real job. It's just not even close to what they want you to believe it is. I am from Detroit and recently laid off so I just want to save all those that are in my shoes and looking for a solid position because this is not one.

I encourage all those who disagree to make rebuttals and those that have had this experience to share it so we can prevent such ignorant time loss.
