Same EXACT thing happened to us at our business as the fire department story. SAME equipment and everything! He was driving a white ford, rental truck. Same jist. Of just trying to get rid of the equipment instead of shipping it back to South Carolina... Pay for the generator $6900.00 and get the other equipment free. We turned it into our Local law enforcement and they have put out a Public Service announcement to warm the area not to fall for this scam! You can buy that same generator for brand new for $2000.00!!! Its all a SCAM!
