Favoritism from management for their "pets"

For the last 18 months, I have been repeatedly written up by a "pet" of management in the Framingham, MA store for several reasons. 1: Insubordination. I was told to do work for other employees, leaving my work incompleted. I refused by telling the Overnight Team Logistics Coordinator that I have my own work; as well as priorities, to do first. If he (a flaming queen) needs me to do this other work, it will have to wait until my tasks are completed first. 2: Safety Violations. I have been accused of working in unsafe manners and written up for it. When I questioned management about this I was told that it was their word against mine.

I called the Target employee Hot Line number in our employee handbook to register a complaint. Target Corp. H.R. Personnel told me that it takes two people to see any employee violating safety rules before they can be written up. Not so. All it takes is the say so of managements little pets who thrive on the Quid-Pro-Quo policy to have their way. 3: I reported to both the store H.R. Rep. And the store management about their pets coming into the backroom (my work area) and causing several problems. They leave trash and cardboard sitting on the floor where they please and one of the stores LOD will come into the backroom, see the mess and demand that I clean it up. I told them to get the people from the sales floor who left the mess back here to clean it up, I am not their wet nurse. Since then, management has allowed their "pets" to cause several more problems.

I called the district H.R. Rep. And got NO help from there. I have been repeatedly written up on one false charge after another by management so that their little pets are kept happy. April 17, I was fired. Wrongly accused; once again, by a store Plano Team member who told management that I was climbing shelves. I did no such thing. I stepped on the bottom shelf which is @ 3 inches from the floor to reach a box that fell backwards. Management didn't want to hear anything from me about it. Their precious pets have spoken and so I, and probably another, have been wrongfully terminated with no proof that I did anything wrong. The Dayside Backroom Team has been forbidden to have fun, or to engage in the stores activities. Only certain sales floor team members are allowed. Target Corp. Has done nothing to put and end to the harassment of certain employees, by management and/or their pets. Action needs to be taken. Legally as well as boycotting the store.
