Lottery scam

International Award Claim Department send me a letter today Saturday April 25 with a check for $3,955.00 drawn on Bank of America. The letter said that I have just won $55,000 from American Sweepstake Lottery held on January 1. I needed to contact Mr Bob at 1-647-219-5411 to claim my price. I called the number and Mr Bob told me that I had just won the lottery amount of $55,000 he also told me to deposit the check on Monday and to call him right after. I would have to send him $2,900 by western union or monygram so he can paid my taxed on the winning.

I am sure that after I would send them the money I would never hear from Mr Bob again. The check that the have sent me would bounce all over the place and my $2,900 would be lost.

Please be aware of these scams, you should not have to send anyone money if you win the lottery.
