I am a realtor. I received an email from Darlene Patty (a real estate agent with her picture). She says that she has clients in my area looking to purchase or sell properties.By the way this person never existed with the company (1st Century Mortgage) as far as my effort to reach her is concerened. I was referred to Mike Valenti who after several phone conversations pursuaded me to signed up for 30 days trial at $280 for 15 leads. I did not received any instruction for the nex 10 days.

Called Andy Garcia, Mike Valenti's supervisor and I was told that it takes time to set up the system. Then, received an email urging me to activate the referral generating system. Tried 2 sites provided but I could not get connected to get started with the benefit of receiving the leads. Sent reply email reporting the problem, tried to contact the customer service but the
voice mail box was always "full". Tried again and I was told by recorded message saying that it is "unavailbe". I was begining to have doubt about the company so, I faxed, left message repeatedly to cancell the deal.

One day I found a phone message from Penny Thompson, secretary of Dalrene Patty saying that my request was processed and there would be no charges. I repeatedly requested for refund of my $280 by voice messageses,
faxes and emails but received no response. Finally I was able to be connected with Tamara Dancun, customer service (?) and complained about not receiving the refund.
She told me that if I sent her my request via fax, she would take care of it rightaway, although I had sent the same request repeatedly, I complied.

It has been 10 days and no actions received.
I just want tell people who might be approached by this company - be careful and never trust them. They repeatedly told me that they are nations No. 1 Mortgage company...?

4/9/09 Ripoff... They stole $500.00 from me promising leads for homeowners insurance. The Red Flag that I should have heeded was they don't except credit card payments. Credit Card companies offer recourse for non receipt of goods or services!
