Imagine Card
Offer Letter Rip Off! Atlanta Georgia

Imagine Card sent me a letter in the mail offering that if I pay $385, they'd credit my remaining balance of $187 thus clearing my debt with them. I read ALL the fine print carefully. On the letter I received, it said that "the credit will be applied to your account PRIOR to your next payment due date". After paying the $385, I checked their website to ensure payment was received/processed but to my surprise their website shows that I owe a $30 min payment for next month.

I emailed customer service FOUR TIMES and each time received the same canned form letter response saying it can take up to 45 days to credit my account. 45 days? The letter I received in the mail said PRIOR to my next due date. 45 days is AFTER my next due date.

They say I'm still responsible for the next payment of $30. That is not what the letter I received states.

Additionally, if I make this $30 payment on a $180 balance, that leaves my balance at $150. The letter promised a credit $187. I am therefore being shorted $37.
