Handyman Connection misleads and overcharges

I wanted to replace a ceiling fan, and Home Depot wanted $99 for the job. So, I checked with Handyman Connection to get an estimate. The lady on the phone assured me that the cost would be $80. I asked several times if there was anything that could increase the cost. She said not unless it was something really hard. My job was simple, so I thought I'd get the job done for $80 vs. The $99 from Home Depot.
First bad sign - the guy was 4 hours late. Then he told me it would be $155! But $130 with a coupon. (I never told him I had a coupon, so that demonstrates how worthless the coupons are - they just raise the price to cover them.) I complained about the cost, so the guy said it would probably be less; he would have to see after he got into the job.
I was tired from waiting so long for him to show up and was hoping he would surely charge less when he saw how easy the job was, so I let him go ahead. My mistake, as I was reminded by the franchise owner here when I complained later. I also complained to the national office and was told the same thing.
I've had Home Depot install two ceiling fans before, and when they say $99, it's $99. Not so with Handyman Connection. They are truely rippoff artists. Don't ever trust these guys.
