Mr. Volk is in the process of ripping me off

I went in to speak with Mr. Volk Saturday 04-11-09 to inquire as to what my options are to break my lease. He gave me different options and let me decide which direction i would like to go. I then decided to go ahead and have him help me out. That same day after speaking with my father he told me not to deal with az tenants advocates because it did not sound right to him. He offered to pay any penalties from my breaking the lease. I then informed him the following Monday that i would like my money back since he had not done much for me up until that point.

I first spoke with his helper who informed me that it should not be a problem since he had not done anything yet. The total amount i paid was $554. Mr. Volk was supposed to call me back around 9 that day and he did not. After several attempts that morning and being promised he would call back he never did. He finally got on the phone as i was recording the call from work. He told me the way things go around there that money was spent allready. I asked him to please give me my money back since we never got started breaking my lease. He then told me he has to be compensated for the 20 minutes of work he did for me, and asked what i think is fair. I told him if $54 was fair he said make it $100 and he would give me my money back.

He said later on in the week to call him. He constantly avoids my calls and had the secretary tell me he may have it on Friday. I have never felt so put off in my life. I fear i will never see the money because of the way he is acting. Be cautious with him he is two faced. I will have to see if my $454 is refunded on Friday, but i have a bad feeling about it. I will post the outcome either way. I will notify the BBB and the arizona attorney general of his business practices and will not stop until i get my money back.
