Promises, Promises - All Work and No Money

I do think Mark and Rhonda Berglas are running a scam. I first joined BHR as a rep, and I did everything they told me to do, including working with Mark on how to do Craig's List. Then I was asked to become a manager, for which I paid $495. I continued to do all that I was told to do and more; I really worked on this, and I know that I am a very capable worker.

Bottom line: I didn't make a dime. The leads given me by Mark and Rhonda were old, obsolete, or just bogus. Rhonda even said that she "didn't see why she and Mark had to spoon-feed the reps with leads." In this business, if you don't have quality leads, you don't make any money.

I will say that I had BHR negotiate a debt for me and they did a fantastic job. They were very professional and got the work done in record time. I am very grateful to them for this service. Yes, I paid them, but I paid them less than a "normal" client would. It was fair, in my estimation.

Lastly, there is Mark and Rhonda's involvement with "Cash Arrives 365." This is a gifting program, in which you can invest anywhere from $500 to $3500. I invested $500, and I got someone to sign on so I got my $500 back. I broke even on Cash Arrives, but I can see how people could lose a stack of money if they invested the whole $3500 and didn't get enough signers to make it back. I suspect that this whole thing is an illegal scam; I'm grateful I got in and out with as little damage as I did.

Mark and Rhonda are very personable, nice people over the phone. I don't like all the pie-in-the-sky promises and outright lies that Mark tells to his independent contractors; those are deliberately misleading, and the results tell the tale: I made no money over a 6 month timeframe. So if you're thinking of signing on with these people, think again. There are better places to invest your money.
