Under the guise of helping me collect an unpaid debt of $11,500.00, these people requested $ 2,200.00 for a retainer for attorney's fees. I paid it & waited. Every time I called them I got a different story as to what was up. This went on for over a year of me chasing them for answers, each time getting varying stories.

I was first told I won the case & would receive payment soon, then I was told the lawyers wouldn't take the case & they would refund my money. Then I was told the debtor paid them & they would forward payment to me "soon."

None of the money ever showed up. The only thing that did happen was their phones got disconnected.

As a result, I am out $2,200.00, the past due account is aging, and my chances of ever collecting are compromised.
