Hawk Moving Services damaged my furniture and refused to pay for it

I had used this company a couple of times with no problems. The third time I had used them, the movers broke a leg on a table while taking the table out to the moving van. I discovered this when they unloaded the furniture. The movers apparently thought I would not notice the broken leg as they did not inform me of this. I called Hawk Moving Services and told them I would like to be reimbursed for the broken furniture. The owner, Casey, just laughed and said he was not going to do anything about it. I told him I had used them before and cannot understand why he would treat a loyal customer like myself this way. He just said "too bad, we are not going to pay for it". I could not believe his attitude - him laughing about the fact they had damaged my furniture. They have numerous addresses listed so I am not really sure where they are currently located. There is another address at 1201 Blackhawk Drive in Grand Prairie and then a different address is listed on their website that is in Keller.

I did a Google search on "Hawk Moving Services Dallas" and found that Channel 5 News in Fort Worth had done a story on moving services that have an unsatisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau and Hawk Moving Services is listed as being one of them. Hopefully others needing a moving company will see this and steer clear of Hawk Moving Services.
