NEVER, EVER, do business with Julie Stone Cortez in Houston. She has had many, many businesses, and failes at every one. She attempted to run a music store, and ordered lots of music from many publishers. She got the music, got money from her customers, and then ran off, closing up her doors, cutting off her phones, and refusing to pay the publishers.
She even told her attorney to tell people that she won't be paying. She thinks that once we find out how much it will cost to sue her in Houston court, we won't bother.
She has committed fraud (by intending never to pay) and we have reported her to the FTC.
No one ever do business with her again. She is a cheat, a liar, and a thief.
