Asian Friend Finder
Beware of AsianFriendFinder site. They're a big ripoff!

I recently joined asian friend finder and realized that they lure you into their site with a Gold Membership and then nickle and dime you (well, pretty much charge you 10's of dollars more and more) for every extra feature you try to use. For e. G let's say you become a Gold Member. You really expect that as you're gold member, you'd be able to contact anyone right? NO. Most of the people on their site are scammers from Asian Regions (China, japan) who do only have standard accounts. If you try to contact someone who's a standard account member, you've to pay additional. Plus other contact methods you'll still have to pay additionally more. And it goes on and on.

If you live in a zip code (say most asian populated region in norther california - silicon valley) and you search for someone, you'll find like 20 gold members in the entire 100 miles radius (For a comparison, if you're on match.com you'll find like 1000's). Basically you end up paying for the whole month or if you're dump enough to fall in their lure of $5.99 / mmonth for 12 months then you pretty much lose the whole thing and won't find anyone. About 90% of the standard members are from Asian coountries trying to scam you.

Avoid this site and stay away. I tried contacting them and explaining this and no response. Well, what do you expect!!! Thank goodness these days I've a good sense of only subscribing for a month to see if any service is good. So atleast even though it's a few dollars more, you can find out how much they suck.

Plus be careful using your credit card. The renewal is automatic and you'll have to go though hell to cancel the membership. Thankfully I used a virtual credit card with limit. So they can't recharge me again.
