NewLinkNetWorkFax
Sent required "activation" sounding letter following telemarketing call

Shops, Products, Services

This company made a phone call soliciting covering cost of your phone bills of up to I believe $250. However that pro-rated is on a month to month basis and only done with proof requiring you send a copy of your phone bill. I decided this was too much intrusion and did not mail anything to them. Something about the wording made me think this required activation to get started and so I did nothing. It was through an alert ATT operator that this was called to my attention. A phone call to their Clear Water number immediately cancelled the subscription and credit one charge. I had three total charges and had to email, fax or write them to credit the other two charges. Monthly charges are an outrageous $49.00 for a fax service.

I am on the National no telemarketer call list but this came through a business phone number. The original solicitation caller seemed to be in a room full of telemarketers. That did raise my suspicion a bit about the shadiness of this operation. So on the follow-up call to cancel, I was surprised to hear two different agents sound and handle the cancellation in a professional business like manner.
