Check your credit card statements!

Received my credit card statement today. There was a charge of 11.95 on there from "ShoppingEssen". Called the number and had to provide my customer id, which I did not know OR my credit card number. (didn't like that) But finally got a live person to come on the line. Asked him what the charge was for and he said I had signed up for this savings club after a purchase to The Stitchery.

I told him I had never made a purchase to this store and that they needed to remove the charge. He did not argue, just simply said, "we will remove the charge" I then asked him how long I had been signed up for this service and he told me for 2 months. So beware, and check your credit card statements!!! This is a good example of why I don't use my debit card for online purchases!
