My husband and I are victims of Diane (Dee) Gerrish owner/operator of LakeRidge Kennel, Cleveland, NC. He purchased a dog from Diane (Dee) over 13 months ago. The dog did not work out for us so we re-homed the dog with very dear friends of ours. The dog was a purchase. We paid her in full and have the receipt.

When Dee learned that we had re-homed the dog, she went berserk. Because we did not give her the dog back, she retaliates by going on the internet to post vicious, malicious, hateful lies about me her youngest sister, and lies about who we are, what we did, what we have. She threatened us and continues to threaten us with claims that she is contacting the FBI, coming to our area to confiscate the dog. She even put out a "doggie amber alert" on Buzznet.com, in hopes of tracking down the dog. She calls me every imaginable name in the book of "hateful names". She claims that I slandered her all over the internet and claims that she has tracked my IP address all over the internet.

I wish to God that the FBI would get involved in this ridiculous family fued that has and continues to be from her. She steals photos from our sister's album on webshots and manipulated them and posted hateful, disgusting remarks all over them just to try to hurt us, her very own sisters. She posted our full names, addresses, email addresses all over the internet attacking us with lie after lie after lie even claiming that we stole from our very own mother.

I have the original hateful emails she sent to me and my husband that she claims she did not write. I have shown them to our local police and I have reported her and I have an incident number to prove it. She is a cyber bully and will stop at nothing to try to destroy anyone who does not robotically do as she says.

I have been to her kennel that she operates from. It's a small building in the back of her single wide mobile home. I was there trying to work for her and I only stayed for 23 hours because the conditions were unsafe to me and I quit and she got mad and has been retaliating ever since. Those dogs are confined to cages; even a cat was in a cage and she wanted me to take it home with me and I refused.

What made me want to leave so quickly was the incident with the sheltie dog that was viciously attacked by one of her grown dogs. The sheltie had a large hole in it's stomach and Diane screamed at me and made me hold that dog down while she sewed it up with thread which appeared to me as some time of carpet thread and she did not use anesthesia nor even speak about taking the dog to the vet. I was tramatized by what happened. She claims on her blogs that the incident never happened. She is lying! It did happen. It's just another one of her lies that she hides behind.

She says how proud she is of her mobile home and her grooming facility and her kennel. But when she is asked over and over again to post photos, she does not.instead, she stole indoor photos of someone else's grooming tub with a white poople and says it's hers. It is not hers.

Her property is located in a mobile home park in a semi-rural area. The property has a boat, a travel trailer, a single wide mobile home and several sheds on a small parcel. The kennel is nothing more than a storage building with no kennel runs to exercise the dogs.

Many customers have complained about her on Voy.com; Michelle's Pet Chat; and here as well. All of us have similar complaints. Diane (Dee) is a very difficult person to get along with. Her business practice is unscrupulous; she's a fraudulent business operator/backyard breeder. BUYER BEWARE! Just because she has lots of flashy icons and animated icons and blogs about herself all over the internet does not make her a reputable breeder.

She takes liberty and pleasure at bashing not only former customers but even her own family. Is this someone who you want to buy a dog from?
