I just received my termination of charge privileges notice TODAY, 9 days after the effective date.

I immediately called but got busy signal for hours, so I tried calling all the customer service numbers listed on their website.

Finally got through to the Eddie Bauer line.

My only concern was my credit rating. The girl informed me that the account would be listed as "closed by consumer", not by company on my credit report. However, after reading all these reports about FCNB, I will be monitoring my credit report VERY closely. Word to the wise.
