Shorted my order and gave no refund or other options

I bought 2 yards of pink flannel and 2 yards of purple flannel. When they arrives, I started using them in a quilt. About 1/3 of the way through, I realized there wasn't as much purple material as pink and so I measured what was left (had used equal amounts of both on quilt up to that point). Turns out they shorted me about 2/3 of a yard of the purple material.

When I asked them about it, they told me they had run out of it. I asked why I wasn't informed about this so I could choose another material. They merely apologized. I asked for my money back on the shortage. They never answered that email. So now I have 1/3 of a quilt that can't be finished because I can't find the exact same material and joann.com has basically washed their hands of the situation, no further emails are being answered.
